Insight Cologne

All those who wish to explore office visions first-hand will find more than a dozen examples in Cologne on 26 October 2012.

For the second time, the Koelnmesse will host INSIGHT COLOGNE, Night of Office and Architecture in conjunction with ORGATEC, the world’s leading international trade fair for Office & Facility. The exclusive journey of discovery through Cologne’s workspaces will allow those interested in architecture and interiors to experience trends live in action. Each individual station will offer its own world of experience in one of three categories: New Office Concepts and Architecture Trends, Sustainably Developed Offices and Buildings and Expertly Revitalized Buildings.

For a period of six hours, some 15 companies will provide insight into office and workspace concepts otherwise inaccessible to the public. The program content will be wide-ranging, with walkthroughs and tours at the fore. Participants can together visit selected businesses on guided group tours, or they can determine their own visiting priorities and participate as individuals in any of the numerous architect-led walks through the stations.

The participating businesses are spread throughout the entire city of Cologne. A shuttle bus system will provide fast connections between stations.

The ORGATEC Night of Office and Architecture is a boon not just for visitors, but also for participating companies (stations). The clear event profile and strategic selection of stations will be closely monitored by experts and media; individual stations will merge into a total urban picture. Cologne will show the world how we will work tomorrow.
